Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform rigging activities to repair, replace and maintain plant equipment
  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching
  • Inspect and maintain Lifting equipment
  • Maintain logbooks for equipment and inspections
  • Ensure availability of tools, equipment and material

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Full N2 Qualifications / technical Grade 12 Certificate with trade theory relevant to Rigging
  • Minimum five years’ experience as a Rigger Ropesman
  • Section 13 trade test certificate
  • English proficiency
  • Medical certificate of fitness
  • Own transport
