Job Description

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate underground production teams across assigned shifts
• Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and site safety standards
• Plan and allocate daily production tasks to meet output targets
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Manage and develop Shift Bosses, Miners, and production crews
• Report on production, safety, and cost performance to senior management

Requirements

• Mine Overseer’s Certificate of Competency
• 5+ years underground mining experience, including supervisory experience
• Sound knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Medical Certificate of Fitness for underground work
