Financial Manager – Mine Operations

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our mine operations team in Limpopo.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize mine performance and profitability.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and company policies.
• Lead and manage a team of finance professionals.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the mining industry.
• Professional certification (CA, CMA, or equivalent) an advantage.
• Strong financial analysis, planning, and management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., SAP, Excel).
