Job Description

Gain hands-on mining skills through an enrichment program as a Learner Miner. You will train in equipment operations and surface mining.

Responsibilities

  • Complete classroom and on-the-job instruction
  • Shadow mentors and ask questions to build knowledge
  • Operate equipment properly and safely
  • Adhere to all protocols and procedures
  • Assist crews with tasks as assigned
  • Develop competencies through assessments

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / NQF Level 3
  • Pass medical and fitness assessments
  • Comfortable working on mine sites
  • Desire to gain mining skills
