Job Description

As a Foreman at Mototolo Mine, you will manage engineering equipment and machinery, leading teams of technicians and artisans to achieve production targets and ensure continuous operations through planned and breakdown maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments
• Effectively manage breakdowns and emergency situations
• Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities
• Closely monitor performance and productivity metrics
• Record and accurately report all legal examinations
• Optimize work planning and task prioritization

Requirements

• Grade 12/NQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent
• Certified competence as a Mechanical/Electrical Technician
• Minimum 5 years of experience in underground mining maintenance
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills
• Strong technical maintenance expertise
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
